Archie McKenzie is a comic artist and printmaker based in Cardiff, Wales, whose work explores the meeting of joy and struggle in playful fiction and non-fiction books. They co-run Inky Fruit Co. with Rhi Fairclough, a risograph press that publishes handmade graphic novels.
They graduated from Arts University Plymouth in 2023 with a 1st class BA(hons) Illustration, as one of the Ones To Watch. During their degree, Archie organised Trans Pride Plymouth 2022 and 2023, held multiple roles in their student union and was a core member of Ink Snails Collective. Since then, they have volunteered with community arts projects in Cardiff, such as The Printhaus, Hwb Clwb and Arthole.
